Happy New Year for 2014!

Warm those cockles by gazing in to this honey coloured Citrine set in Silver with 18kt Gold line detail. The bevelled edges as the band meets the setting create a subtle twist.

This cabouchon Cornelian with Aquamarines set either side of the setting is fun yet classic.
Either of these styles can be unisex.

Rings that fit.

Got an engagement ring that doesn't sit with the usual Wedding rings on display? These are examples of wedding bands I have made to solve that problem. There is always a way to accentuate an Engagement ring design with the wedding band, however complex, and you get a truly unique band that holds its own.

Black Opal ring...

This was a very special commission  made using Diamonds the client inherited from a relatives ring. I was asked to source a Black Opal with good colour and after some searching found this beautiful example through one of my stone suppliers in Hatton Garden. As it moves the stone gives flashes of blue and green reminiscent of tropical waters. Opal is a soft stone and must be taken great care of when wearing, one of the reasons I encased this one in a rub-over setting. As a Dress ring for special occasions it really makes a splash!

Silver/18kt Gold ring with Sapphire

9kt rose Gold Spiral ring with a bevelled edge and steel ball bearing in a rubover setting.
This is the latest engagement ring. The steel ball bearing had a special significance to the couple, by setting it in to the ring they have placed meaning on an otherwise insignificant every day object!

Ring with Ring

This ring is made from Sterling Silver and 18kt yellow and rose Gold. The Gold ring, which moves, fits through a Gold tube rivet that also shifts from side to side. The movement in this ring is an extra element creating sound and something to play with!

Sterling silver ring, forged around 2 Sapphires which were supplied by the client. The surface is planished to give a textured look. The Sapphires were inherited but needed to be put in to a piece of jewellery that the client would wear, they are antique Burmese Sapphires so it is great that they are now being worn again as they have such sentimental value but also are really nice examples of the stone.

Happy New Year!

Above: 18kt White Gold ring with 28 point Brilliant cut Diamond
Happy New Year! 2010 has been a great year, I have lots of pieces to add to the blog that I completed for commission in the last few months of it, as well as work that was on show at my Winter Collection Launch. The night was a great success with lots of people coming to view the work. Anyone wanting to view the collection who couldn't make the night can do so by appointment.
2011 looks to be just as busy, I have plans for new collections and a London show so keep checking the blog for information on up coming events.
