This is the latest engagement ring. The steel ball bearing had a special significance to the couple, by setting it in to the ring they have placed meaning on an otherwise insignificant every day object!

The Coathanger collection was recently on show at Goldsmiths Hall as part of the Craftsmanship and Design Awards Exhibition, 2012.

Lapidary is a great interest of mine and whenever I can get my hands on the equipment I love to cut my own stones. It makes each piece even more unique. Lapis is one of my favourite stones, with that rich royal blue and veins of gold running through, it emanates ancient indulgence!

Keeping a Record...

This Sterling Silver Record has been made as a present for a newborn, a unique way of making a record of the birth!
On one side there are Garnets (the birth stone), the date of birth and the UK Hall mark, on the other the name is engraved around the 'label'. The 'vinyl' is Oxidised Silver with 3 grooves engraved on each side.
The central hole means that in the future this can be made in to a pendant and worn, in the mean time it can be kept safely in its sleeves...
